Yes, you can add pictures from your computer's hard drive:

1.) On the right-side of your computer is a button called "More Reply Options" click on that.

2.) You can than type your text, and than click on "Upload File."  Pictures are usually called JPEG files

3.) Depending on how your computer is set up, you will be taken to your 'Downloads" folder.  This is a folder where all the stuff you download from the Internet goes.  If you know what you want to post is a picture and you have stored it in a different folder, click on the "Browse" button and find your folder with the picture that you want to upload.

4.) Click the OK or Upload button shown.

5.) The forum software may resize the image.  If the picture makes the rest of the forum threads or posts stretch out we reserve the right to resize the photo so that the scrolling and moving on the forum works well

6.) The images should relate to boxing with a short summery of what they are about. (As little as one sentence is fine.) or MMA in the UFC section.

Rules and Guidelines for Posting Images Are The Following:

A.) They are not spam or porn.  No URL's or images may link to spam or porn, or to known virus/malware sites.

B.) They are not over-sized causing text or other functions to slow down the forum.

C.) No excessively violent images.

D.) No animal cruelty.

E.) At least one sentence is provided why you are uploading them to the site.

F.) Remember to give credit to the site when posting the link (i.e Credit, [sitename].com.)

G.) No one may ever link to PPV sites, or subscription services, or post live fight URL links on the boards. These actions violate copyright laws.

Any questions or problems with working with images or forum features, send any moderator staff member a PM. Thanks!

Thanks Jack!

Will the site's software allow us to use gifs as our avatars? I tried this using my photobucket account and I kept getting an error message....can't remember what the message said though.

Not sure,

Years ago, I disabled the "Show Avatar" settings on my profile.  It just makes the board run that much faster.  What's the error message you get?  I can send it to Ben.  The uploader should say what file formats are allowed.

Sorry!

It's not "Upload File."  If you click on More Reply Options and than after you select your picture using the above instructions I gave, you click on "Upload This File."  It has been a while since I have used the uploader.  I don't know what updates Ben has applied since that time.  Let me know if you hit anything confusing.
