Can't blame him, if its true. You guys have to think of it this way, he would be fighting the most favored fighter in the sport. Not only that, but if this fight was made, people wouldn't be satisfied with one fight....they'd do everything in their power to see it a second or third time.

With that in mind, what if he has some Alfieri moments during the fight (slips in the corner) and they call them knockdowns?

I've never been against immediate rematch clauses, never will be. When fights go the distance and there's an agenda in place, funny things happen.

Hmmmmm

It comes down to who has the most to lose and that would be Floyd, plus you never know about these judges he has had judges give the nod to Oscar, and Canelo in a fight what makes you think it won't happen with Manny.  Marquez got robbed a few times, hell even Manny got robbed (there was a rumor that that was his last fight with Top Rank, and he had to extend his contract to get Bradley again).

You notice it is always one side leaking information, but they do not want to talk about the purse split, drug testing, or anything else that prevented the fight from happening in the past.

If you think about it why wouldn't the networks want to have a 2 fight deal (It will be the biggest fight in boxing).  Manny even had a rematch clause against Algeri (seriously, Arum said it himself).

Good question. Maybe insurance for a guarantee fight instead of having to wait five years. See MAB and Juan.

Probably to do with the money, if there is an upset the guy who loses can get an immediate rematch which will probable generate more interest and in turn more money

yes but why would you need insurance if your certain your going to win...and did MAB really need a rematch? I mean he thoroughly beat down

The A side of the fight always does that, by your logic Pacquiao always thinks he's going to lose because he does it too and I wouldn't be surprised if Arum asks for a rematch clause as well. We only getting information on this from one side and that one side is packed with blatant liars

Horrible rumor. Manny never wanted to fight Bradley in the first place...it was Bob who promised Tim the fight...which was in the spring of 2011, while he was still fighting under Shaw's banner.

Im not sure if the first Bradley fight was his last fight under his contract, but Manny started making complaints about his pay after Floyd's guaranteed $32M purse against Cotto surfaced a month prior. Manny was being resistant when the Bradley fight was brought to the table, and yes, he was threatening to "sit out".

Bob kept him honest by hardly lifting a finger to promote the fight, and ultimately making sure that he came up short on the card. In the event that Manny came up short on the cards, he couldn't ask Bob for more money, because Bob;s response would've simply been, "Hey kid, there's not enough money out there and you just lost your last fight".

Mind you, all of this was going on shortly after Visionquest was booted out of the picture. Manny's gonna end up on 30 for 30 in the next few years.

I thought it was fishy when the fight was delayed. I knew some fuckery was going to happen.
