What is your take on this weekend's scrap? I haven't hear much buzz about it...it's mainly been about Alvarado's sophomoric criminal antics, but oh well.

Who ya got?

I expect Rios to win but I'll still be rooting for mike to get his life together and score an upset

Rios by KO. Too much drama in Alvarado's life right now.

I agree...the last 2 or 3 fights that Mike's been in, he's had legal problems, and hasn't performed to the best of his abilities....or maybe we saw the real Mike.

I'll take Rios by close decision though...he aint knockin nobody out nowadays.

Before the legal distractions, I would've chosen Alvarado to win. Why? It's because I think he can fight more than one way, not just attempt to brawl his way to victory. Let's be honest... Rios can't box anyone's ears off. He's good at sucking his opponents into toe-to-toe battles, though; brawls. When that happens, that's when he's able to take advantage. Mike's head isn't clear, so Rios already has a leg up in this fight. With that being said, I got him winning by decision. I don't think he knocks Alvarado out.

i think it goes like the last one, i think rios is in a state of desperation and not one that will serve him well. I dont think mile highs legal issues will weigh him down, hes use to it by now.

Rios by KO. Last week I was way off with my prediction of Stiverne/Wilder. I changed my mind one day before the fight, realizing that I should've gone for Wilder after I heard Joel Diaz speak about him, but I kept my original prediction of Stiverne by KO.

This time I'm tempted to say Rios by Decision but I'm gonna go with Rios by KO.
