Guys,

My original listings for tonight's fight on Showtime had the Gary Russell fight set for 9PM(ET)  There has been an update to the guide listings and other sources as well where the highly anticipated fight between Walsh and Davis will begin at 6PM(ET.)  Showtime lists a 4 hour 30 minute block time, but Fightnews still lists the Russell-Escandon fight starting at 8PM.  This is a big gap.  I don't know how much of an undercard, (if any) is being shown for Davis-Walsh,  In any event, plan on Davis-Walsh starting around 6:15 (PT) and the Russell-Escandon fight around 8PM(ET)

Davis unloaded some bombs in Round 3. Dropped him and went in for the kill after Walsh got up. Davis couldn't miss with his left hooks. Ref stops fight before a 2 knockdown could occur. Good stoppage. Tank had Walsh on easy street.

that shit afterwards very disgusting and unfortunate because it overshadows the class Dirrell showed after being clearly fouled after the bell for the 2nd time in the fight. he still forgave the dude and didn't want to win in that fashion.

if GR Jr knew how to consistently roll, catch and shoot, he'd be one of the best fighters in boxing. side note: im not a fan of Harvey Dock at all. warning Russell for low blows that are legal but not pointing out blatant desperation headbutting Escandon is doing

Agree,

I also think the challenger did better than the scores indicated.  I had the second round even, and thought he won at least one other round.  But this was Russell's hometown, so close rounds were going to go to him with almost certainty.  Berhalemy fight was was too wide for him.  Hated the shit altercations after the Direll fight.

That shit afterwards was hiiiiiiiilarious!

.......but a bit on the disgusting side, I agree.

Man, that Sean John terry cloth track jacket was flapping in the wind when his trainer stole on Uzcategui! What kind of nonsense was that? I was happy when security began to escort Anthony and that other hanger-on from the Dirrell camp, but they somehow let them back in the ring and the trainer pulled that hoe shit.

Sad stuff, man. Andre was being as professional as possible, for that, I applaud him. However, as you mentioned, he has the worst luck in boxing. I don't feel sorry for him though. It's almost as though he gets a little too lacksey daisy and does just enough to win, especially when it matters (title fights and eliminators).

I hope that catch that derplet. I mean, an innocent shove and some profanity would've done the trick, as most camps do when they collide after a fight is over. He could've seriously hurt Uzcategui, and it's more embarrassing because he could've at least put him to sleep if he was gonna catch him off guard with his hands down. Smh
