Is this Wilder's first real test? Who you got and why?

I personally think Ortiz is stiff as a board, but if he can effectively counter and survive an onslaught, will he be the first to defeat Wilder? This might be interesting at the end of the day.

That's what's up ! This fight will be an extremely good barometer for finding out how good Wilder really is.

Personally ?

Ya'll muhfuggas can call me crazy but I have Luis Ortiz winning by late KO.

Among the current Heavyweights, he's clearly the most skilled and Wilder seems to gas late in fights.

Ortiz has major power.. Wilder's chin is about to get tested...If he can survive the bombs that will be dropped on him and has the stamina to come back he can win.

Luis Ortiz is a very good boxer, but I think the younger, more powerful, "Wilder" Deontay Wilder will stop Ortiz. Ortiz won't stop him, but he will hurt him. Wilder will definitely get a boxing lesson in this fight.

Depends on how Wilder's punches impact. If his power does not bother Ortiz then the question is on Wilder's chin... I think Ortiz hits harder. Wilder could get kod

Wilder's resume isn't great but neither is Ortiz's. From what I've seen of Ortiz, he usually breaks guys down and hurts them for his KO's. Wilder has that 1-hitter quitter that's been putting guys to sleep for real. I think it's gonna be a good one. I do want to see how Wilder's chin holds up to a crafty boxer who is a power hitter also. Wilder is gonna need to get his fundamentals in order and he better take this fight seriously. If not, it could be a short night.

Ortiz is too slow on his feet and overall movement, gets hit way too easy. Good puncher, but Wilder's athleticism is gonna kill him IMO.

He also noticeably slows down as the fight goes on and hasn't been in there with any real big punchers, Wilder is gonna expose him.

Wilder isn't very technical, but he's very efficient and a freak athlete, you need to be very skilled and athletic to beat him, someone like Tyson Fury.
