This appears to be Cotto's farewell fight, appears being the operative word here. I don't see what Ali has to offer in this one, but oh well.

Let's keep all of the action here.

I hate that Ali is getting sacrificed here, being that he's only lost one fight and his career is young. Anything can happen here, but I'm sure Cotto's team wouldn't put him in against somebody that could ruin his farewell fight.

Rey Vargas is a street lamp. Dude is 5'10 1/2 and 122 lbs. Negrete is a sad 5'4 1/2. Smh

Both guys are undefeated, so this should be a nice scrap!

Rey Vargas looks like a tall scrawny Mikey Garcia and a mix of Orlando Solis.

Vargas worked the body and landed a few uppercuts in the first round. Everything else landed on the gloves.

2 rounds that Vargas clearly won. Negrete is the fly at the bbq, but his work isn't really paying off just yet. He's holding and hitting, which could help him down the line.

Negrete seems to be getting to Vargas a bit in the 3rd.

They may have given the first 4 rounds to Vargas, but some may argue that Negrete did enough to edge the 3rd and 4th because of his pressure and willingness to make it more of a fight. He's still getting tagged, but he won't give up.
