I thought Munguia aside from stamina looked like shit...If Smith had power his ass would have been KTFO all them right hands he was eating- Oscar Delahoya scorecards as well..

Damn right!

Glad you got a chance to be there and enjoy the festivities!

I was there for Vargas vs Martinez on the same weekend Chavez/Martinez fought. The Joint looks so big on TV, but it's small as shit in person, lol. It's a cool spot though, including the casino and the Pink Taco!

Yeah, The Joint is tiny. It is a good environment though for smaller fights. The Latino crowd was there in full force supporting their fighters. Not sure how it came off on TV, but the chants of "Mexico! Mexico! Mexico!" was crazy loud. Lots of eye candy too. Lady's know how to show out!  :clapping:

I try to get tickets for any of the boxing events when I can now that I'm here. But Oscar De La Hoya and Golden Boy Promotions are out of their DAMN minds with the Canelo/GGG ticket prices. The nose bleed seats were $300. Got email notice for pre-sale tickets at 10:00 the day prior to the public sale. Was logged in and ready to get 2 tickets. Them MF'ing $300 seats were sold out in less than a minute. Couldn't get tickets unless, I wanted to spend at least $800. I don't roll like that. DAMN ticket brokers, scalpers, De La Hoya and GBP are F'ing crazy!

Mungia looked very green. Beating Smith was a solid step in his progression. I think he'll need to avoid guys like Charlo, Hurd and even Austin Trout. I can see the Trout fight getting made though. Trout doesnt have the kind of power to decapitate him, but Trout is a step up from Smith. Quiet as kept, I wouldnt mind seeing Smith in with trout either. it would be entertaining. Mungia will need a few soft touches who can box so that he learns not to step into counters and avoid rights. Head movement is your friend. He has potential, but he'll be moved along too fast. He will be the next Fernando Vargas. Just waiting for his Tito.

Exactly! Exactly! Exactly!

The last time I went, there were pleeeenty of hot women. The catch was, they were with groups of guys...possibly their brothers or cousins or simp "male friends". Lol

I enjoyed the Hard Rock as a whole, and I may very well stay there when I go to Vegas in September. They're charging me a little over $700 to stay there for 4 nights, which I can't really argue with...though I'd want to save a few bucks if I could.

And yes, Oscar's back on that dust again. I just checked for GGG/Canelo tickets and the lowest ones were over $500. Either GBP is crazy, or boxing "fans" are doing what they do best....talk shit about what they're not gonna watch or pay for, and do the opposite.

Anytime I buy a fight ticket at a large venue, I pay at least $200 for a seat....so I wont be in the nosebleeds hating life. I supposed to be going to Vegas for a friend's birthday trip on the weekend after Canelo/GGG, but I reeeeally want to go to the Barclay's for Garcia/Porter two weeks prior. I got some numbers to crunch over here.
