Bet he wont fight in his hometown again! Lol

I hate hometown fights anyway....the fighter usually fights a rollover or the opponent usually gets robbed.

I could feel Hurd was distracted by all the hometown nonsense and his focus was off. When I saw the band, the rapper during the ring walk and the Redskins colors, I knew he bit off more than he could chew.

I still like Hurd as a fighter, but he has some work to do....he can start by firing that corner or at least one person so everybody gets the message. Second, that defense...it needs some major tuning if he wants to have a great career and a brain after he retires.

The division just got that much more interesting. Now a Williams/Hurd rematch is an option, Williams vs the winner of Charlo/Harrison, and you can throw Lubin's box-headed ass in there too.

Hurd is the weakest boxer out of all them dudes. He's just so much bigger than them. JRock had a plan for tonight and it worked. That knockdown helped.

That was a classic!  One of the best fights I have seen in a long time!

Hurd's L is the result of a fighter thinking they can fight anyone one way and one way only. I called it in the past that he'll eventually take an L fighting that way.

What a fight! The little man beat the bigger fighter. J Rock was a fuckin Duran in there. Kept throwing precise punches. Hurd punched himself out in round 5. He had nothing left but he kept swinging. Swinging wide and slow but kept swinging. That fight is why boxers box. Every great has had a fight like that. J Rock was so aggressive and just kept comimg
Whoever he hired as his strength and conditioning coach deserves a raise. Dude came out ready. Great fight! I knew that Charlo L wouldn't stop him. Great fight. Great fight!
