I couldn't disagree more. He gave GGG all he could handle and had it not been for the knockdown, I would probably have had it for Danny or a draw. And I dont get why people complain when fighters talk trash. It's a fight. Is he supposed to be nice? If he DOESNT talk trash, will Canelo take it easy on him? It's a prize fight. He has to sell himself as someone other than Canelo's opponent.

Jacobs did not do enough against GGG. Nothing wrong with trash talk but you got to back up your WORDS. Jacobs on both occasions talked a good one but did not perform up to what he spoke. Jacobs is just unimpressive considering the shit he talks. He actually said he was shocked Canwlo took the fight against him lmao...as if he is some feared world beater...he fought like a scared hesitant lil bitch against Canelo who is now challenging at 175. Canelo beat Jacobs easily. He stunk big time. Maybe we will see him and Quillen again at 168. B versus B-

We'll just agree to disagree...as usual.

This fight needs to take place at a catchweight, probably somewhere around 172. The kicker is....Julio doesn't need to know about it, only Danny's team needs to be aware of this.

If it's gonna take place at 168, then 168 it is. We all know Julio's good for getting his team to change the fight weight during fight week. If it's announced at 172, Julio's gonna fuck around and have it changed to Crusierweight by the weigh-in date.

This may need to be Julio's last big fight, but hey....if the planets line up right and he upsets Jacobs, they can feed him to either Plant (to build his profile) or Benavidez if he wants one last big fight for Mexico.

Exactly!

We've seen stranger things (e.g. Mayorga vs Forrest), but Chavez doesn't even the possess the advantage of being awkward in there...he's just a punching bag with a puncher's chance nowadays.
