[Jack 1000]

For the WBC Super-Featherweight Title. Could be a war for as long as it lasts! All comments here. If you are recording this, add extra time! There is a basketball game previous, and those things always run overtime.

Can’t wait for this one! Glad there’s a game on...that’ll give me more time to watch the showtime card that starts at 9pm!

 

Both guys looked to have struggled to make weight, so it’s possible one could get caught early and hurt or stopped....or it’ll come down to whose body gets them through the last half of the fight. 
 

Berchelt has the power and plans to stop Valdez...that may work against him if he isn’t careful. He’s beaten an older Vargas (twice), a battered Miura and an inexperienced Sosa....so I won’t be sold until he settles things with Valdez this evening. 
 

Something tells me Valdez and Reynoso worked on a plan that may resemble the Canelo/GGG 1 plan...stick and move, land a few meaningful shots and roll with the big shots when you can. This is probably gonna show us if Berchelt’s able to cut off the ring. No doubt Valdez has some hard rounds to endure. 
 

I believe this one goes the distance and Valdez does himself a favor early by banking some early rounds. Most can see a KO ending the fight but I’m looking at the long term here.

Berchelt looks ripped. Valdez looks quicker but he needs to settle down. Fighting a little too wound up. Nice jab tho

Valdez is fighting beautifully now. Poppin that jab. Winning the ring generalship battle. Making Berchelt look slow and robotic. He's added a left hook to the jab. It's a little wide so he needs to shorten it up
