FLOYD MAYWEATHER SR: "IF NOTHING GOING ON...PACQUIAO CAN'T JUST RUN OVER NO TIMOTHY BRADLEY"

FLOYD MAYWEATHER SR:

"Man, look here man, look here, that drug testing thing ain't sounding so crazy now...I'm curious about this fight right here, the Pacquiao fight, because let's see how it's gonna be done. I'm going to say that right now, if nothing going on, he gonna get his butt kicked. But if he don't have nothing going on, Pacquiao gonna get his butt kicked...I'm telling you right now man, Pacquiao can't just run over no Timothy Bradley. He can't run over no guy like that. I'm just telling you the facts, man. He can't do it," stated world-class trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr., who shared his opinion about the upcoming June 9th Pacquiao vs. Bradley showdown and much more. Check it out!

PC: Big Floyd, how is it going?

FM: Everything is going real good, man.

PC: I see you have another young talent in your stable, Cerreso Fort.

FM: Yeah man, he got down here today. We have about 3 weeks of training. I can't teach him all I know in 3 weeks, but believe me, he will learn a lot and he will be ready.

PC: Yeah, he's fighting June 23rd, right?

FM: Yeah man. He made it down here today and we gonna go right into it. I have never seen him fight, but I will see what he has right away when I get him on the mitts and hitting the bag and stuff. He's fighting a guy that supposedly tries to show out like Roy Jones used to do, so if that's the case, we gonna show out on him. He's fighting this guy for a title, so we will have him ready. We met when I was at some fights out his way and we hit it off good, man.

PC: You are building a good young stable of fighters with Mickey Bey, Cerreso Fort, and Lydell Rhodes.

FM: Yeah, they are all solid fighters, man. Mickey will probably fight for a title at the end of the year. They want to get him a couple of fights in before then. I told him there is no room for error. He has to win both fights if they give him two or he won't get that title shot, so he's gonna be ready. I got another young fighter, man, this Mexican kid. He's only 15 years old and we will turn him pro next year when he turns 16, but he can fight like a motherfucker. He be whoopin' up on the guys who are 31-32 years old in the gym. He can fight his ass off and he's gonna be a problem, trust me. A lot of these guys like the style I bring to the table, so they have been coming out to work with me. Like I tell them, if nothing else, you gonna learn something. My female fighter, Yolanda [Ezell] just beat the shit out of a girl. They gave her a split decision, but if you saw the fight, you know it was unanimous. She hit her with everything under the sun. We were in Oxnard, California, where that other girl was from, but two judges had us winning by wide margin and one judge had her winning. I don't know what that judge was looking at. Yolanda coming along well though. That girl said she wants a rematch and we will give it to her. I honestly don't even care if Yolanda fought her back where we just fought her at either. But my style is starting to pick up and show on my fighters, which is exactly what I want.

PC: Definitely.

FM: When you sign to fight one of my guys, you must like hitting shoulders. They like the style of fighting behind their shoulder.

PC: Well, that was one of the things Manny Steward said, when Cotto was throwing a lot of punches at Floyd, was that he was mainly hitting shoulder.

FM: Oh yeah, man. Man, listen man, let me tell you something, and this is the truth because I'm not defending Floyd or anything like that because we are at odds right now, but he was sick in that Cotto fight. I don't know what he had, but he was definitely sick. People make a big deal about his nose being busted, but his cold broke before that fight. Cotto may have busted it early, but I didn't see Cotto hit him with shots like that to keep it bleeding for so long because he was mainly hitting Floyd's shoulder, so I definitely think it had a lot to do with that cold breaking either before the fight or during it. But man, you not losing a fight because your nose is bleeding. Floyd hit Cotto with a lot of right hands, but I'm gonna tell you, the punch that was doing itÂ…the uppercut. If Floyd...if you look at that 12th round, if Floyd would have thrown more punches, he would have stopped Cotto. Floyd came into that fight 147 pounds and Cotto was a middleweight and damn near a super middleweight. I know people are saying Floyd should rematch Cotto, but if they do it again, I think Cotto gonna get hurt, man. If Floyd gets healthy and comes in at about 150 or 151 and not be sick and lose 4 pounds, he would hurt Cotto, man. I'm just telling you.

PC: If the Pacquiao fight isn't going to happen, and I firmly believe it isn't, maybe a Cotto rematch may be in store, but I don't know.

FM: Man, look here man, look here, that drug testing thing ain't sounding so crazy now. You look at Peterson and Andre Berto and all of these guys getting caught, and all of a sudden, that drug testing request doesn't sound so off the wall now. People are supporting it, but when Floyd first brought it up, they all frowned on it. Now it's not looking like such a bad idea. It's all coming to the light now. The whole thing is like I was saying before, what is Pacquiao gonna say now? Come on! What is he gonna say now? I'm telling you, this fight right here with PacÂ…I think everything went down with CottoÂ…my honest belief that I believe is he first started with De La Hoya. I believe Pacman started his thing with De La Hoya and then De La Hoya on down until he fought Marquez the last time. When he fought Marquez the third time, guest what! You know who got they ass whooped. He was clean I guess, because he thought he was fighting Floyd next. And you know how easy Floyd beat Marquez. All that does is show you what kind of chance Pacman had. His chance was slim to none against Floyd. I'm curious and interested in this fight right here. I'm curious about this fight right here, the Pacquiao fight, because let's see how it's gonna be done. I'm going to say that right now, if nothing going on, he gonna get his butt kicked. But if he don't have nothing going on, Pacquiao gonna get his butt kicked. Now if something going on, watch how bad Pacquiao beat his ass. When you start seeing him doing some stuff like that, running over Timothy BradleyÂ…I'm telling you right now man, Pacquiao can't just run over no Timothy Bradley. He can't run over no guy like that. I'm just telling you the facts, man. He can't do it.

PC: You gonna be at the Pacquiao/Bradley fight or you gonna watch from home?

FM: I'll be at the Pacquiao fight because I got a fighter that's fighting on the card.
