ROBERT GUERRERO:

"Berto's punching power that I'm going to be dealing with is nothing new. I just fought one of the biggest punchers in the division in Aydin, so against Berto, I'll have to be quick on my feet to get out of harm's way. I'll be ready for everything he's bringing...I'm coming hard on November 24th and everyone will be witnessing a great fight between me and Berto. I'm hungry to show the world I'm the best welterweight in the world," stated interim WBC welterweight champion Robert Guerrero, who talked about his upcoming November 24 showdown with former welterweight champion Andre Berto. Check it out!

MJ: How is training camp going for you?

RG: Training camp is going great. I'm here in Las Vegas putting in a lot of hard work. Everything is excellent right now.

MJ: Have you needed to adjust your training methods to fight as a welterweight instead of a lightweight?

RG: Yeah, we made some minor changes to my diet, but as far as training, everything is moving forward as usual. My dad is doing a couple of things differently now that we're at welterweight, but not much.

MJ: Berto is a powerful hitting welterweight. How do you prepare for his punching power? Who are you using as sparring partners?

RG: We got some fast guys in camp that I'm sparring with and they're giving me great work. Berto's punching power that I'm going to be dealing with is nothing new. I just fought one of the biggest punchers in the division in Aydin, so against Berto, I'll have to be quick on my feet to get out of harm's way. I'll be ready for everything he's bringing.

MJ: Do you think his speed or power will be more difficult for you in the fight?

RG: It's not just one or the other, but the combination of both his speed and power that's going to be a challenge; but it's one I'm confident I can handle with success. I believe in my ability to counter attack anything he'll be bringing into the ring.

MJ: How do you like fighting at 147?

RG: It's great fighting at welterweight, which is the most desired weight class to be in. I'm very blessed to have the frame to compete at 147. This is the weight where I want to be.

MJ: Do you think winning this fight leads to Floyd next? If not, what do you anticipate being the next step?

RG: Right now, I'm only focusing on beating Berto. I know with a victory against him puts me in a great position to fight anyone in the world.

MJ: Is there anything else you'd like to tell your fans?

RG: I want the fans to know that I'm coming hard on November 24th and everyone will be witnessing a great fight between me and Berto. I'm hungry to show the world I'm the best welterweight in the world and I'm thankful to Golden Boy Promotions and HBO for this opportunity. I want to thank all my fans for their support, and everyone can follow me on twitter @ghostboxing and Facebook /ghostfans. Tune in to HBO Championship Boxing on November 24th. Thank you and God bless.
