"We're not working with him [Alex Ariza] we consulted him is what it was, to see what he can offer and what he could do for us. We talked about it with the guys and we are not working with him," stated undefeated featherweight contender Mikey Garcia, he revealed that he had a change of heart about working with world-class Strength & Conditioning coach Alex Ariza.
After meeting with Ariza and announcing him as a new team member on various social media outlets affiliated with the Robert Garcia Boxing Academy, for whatever reason, Team Garcia has decided to go in a different direction, instead bringing on Strength & Conditioning coach Darryl Hudson.
"I actually started working with Darryl Hudson yesterday. We did one day together already and I have worked with him in the past as well, so we are doing our strength and conditioning with Darryl Hudson," Garcia explained.
