"Hell yeah," stated WBC lightweight champion Adrien Broner, who made it crystal clear that he would be more than willing to make a quick turn around to fight on the undercard of Floyd Mayweather's return to the ring on May 4 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Broner is currently expected to make his own return to the ring on February 16. Although an opponent has yet to be determined, the undefeated lightweight champion does not expect any problems in his outing. In fact, it was Mayweather himself who actually hinted that Broner could fight again on his undercard.
"May 4th is my date and he going on the undercard. We're going to give him a little bit of the 24/7 so y'all can get a chance to go behind the scenes and see how Adrien Broner really lives," Mayweather stated in a video posted on YouTube by Broner. Whether or not that actually takes place remains to be seen, however, Broner is open to the idea. "Hey, hey, hey, I don't know. He said it. I didn't say it, so I can't really make no assumptions about that, but you know, it is what it is," Broner explained.
