BT: What's good, Twin? I was just calling to get a holiday update. You been taking it easy or are you staying in the gym as usual?
AB: Of course. I run every time something stupid happens, you know. I've been active. If I'm not doing something in the gym, I'm playing basketball or something just to stay active. I know I'm in shape.
BT: I know you were rippin' and runnin' with Floyd at the club the other night, right?
AB: Yeah. It was a crazy night. It was wild. We had fun.
BT: You and Floyd starting to hang out a lot more now.
AB: Yeah, yeah; cool guy. He's just showing me the ropes, you know. Showing me what not to do and what to do. Learning off his mistakes, that's all. Me and Floyd talk about a lot. We talk about anything and everything, really.
BT: No doubt. So when are we going to see you back in the ring? February 16 still the date?
AB: Yeah.
BT: Still trying to get Ricky Burns to sign on the dotted line?

BT: I heard Richard Abril might be the backup plan.

BT: So if that fight happens or not in February, do you see yourself moving up to 140 maybe by the end of 2013, or is that still a move you're not contemplating until later on down the road?
AB: I'ma stay here [135 pounds] and just beat up everybody; let 'em talk some more shit and keep giving me bills. It really don't matter. I'll fight 'em all. I don't give a fuck. I'm already the champion in this weight class, so I'll just start fighting people at catchweights. Rios, 138...we can meet...I'll fight him at 140. I don't care. I'm so impatient that I know that I'll do that, but honestly, there's no need for me to do that. Anybody I fight, they're going to watch because it's me, and they're going to pay me because it's me, so, you know, I really ain't worried about who I fight. The hardest part is getting the opponent.
BT: How far away do you think you are from making that leap to pay-per-view?
AB: Next year, man. Next year is my year. You know it's Money May all day; then it's A.B. fasho. You know what I tell 'em? This is fasho money; this just ain't yo money.
BT: (Laughing) No doubt. Did you get a chance to see the Pacquiao-Marquez IV card?
AB: Nah, I seen the replay or some shit. His name is Plankuiao.
BT: (Laughing) That's messed up. When you saw him get caught with that right hand, was it a suprise to you?
AB: Plankuiao never got out of the way of a right hand. He always gets hit with a right hand. It makes no sense for Floyd to fight him now.
BT: Nah, that fight definitely ain't happening now. What about Gamboa's fight? Did you hear how his fight went?
AB: Who is that?
BT: Yuriorkis Gamboa?
AB: Who is that?
BT: (Laughing) The little guy that 50 Cent keeps saying wants to fight you.
AB: Oh, I heard something like that. They don't want to fuck with me; they want to fuck WITH me.
BT: I gotcha. Well I know you running around, so I don't want to keep you. Before I let you go, I did want to ask about that video of you and Floyd that you just put up. I know Floyd briefly mentioned something about you fighting on his undercard on May 4th. Is there any possibility of that actually happening?
AB: Hey, hey, hey, I don't know. He said it. I didn't say it, so I can't really make no assumptions about that, but you know, it is what it is.
BT: Assuming you do fight in February though, you would be willing to make that quick turn around and fight again in May?
AB: Hell yeah!
