BT: What's poppin' with you, Twin?
AB: What's happenin'?
BT: Same ol', same ol'. What's the good word? It looks like it's going to be Gavin Rees on February 16.
AB: You know I don't worry about who it's going to be. They just tell me the date. I don't worry about no opponents.
BT: (Laughing) That's wassup. Is that official though or are they still working out the details?
AB: I don't know. I don't know who I'm supposed to fight. I only fight who they put in front of me, so whoever comes to the weigh-in, that's who I'm going to fight.
BT: I know you were looking forward to it being Ricky Burns. With that being said, is it difficult for you to get up for a fight that's not necessarily the one you wanted?

BT: When you do have to fight someone who isn't as big of a name as you, do you feel like there's extra pressure to do something spectacular during your performance in order to keep fans tuning in?
AB: When I get in that ring, I gotta put on a show regardless. I'm an entertainer. I'm Adrien "The Problem" Broner and that's what Adrien "The Problem" Broner do. I'm a showman, you know. I don't just go in there and box. I go in there and entertain to give excitement. Like I said, when I'm on TV, it's the A.B. Show.
BT: I know you said it doesn't matter who the opponent is, but how do you see 2013 playing out for you? Is this the year that Adrien "The Problem" Broner takes over the sport or are you content to lay in the cut and just collect those checks as they come?
AB: I think I took the sport last year. This year, I'm just going to keep it on my side. Everybody knows what's going on. Obviously Floyd's gonna fight a few more times maybe, but at the end of the day, it's gonna be the A.B. Show.
