Sources close to the information have informed us that Showtime's scheduled February 9 doubleheader featuring unified jr. welterweight champion Danny Garcia defending his titles against former champion Zab Judah and WBO middleweight champion Peter Quillin defending his title against Fernando Guerrero will be postponed until April 27. Garcia recently suffered an injury to his ribs in sparring that will prevent him from stepping into the ring with Judah in two weeks time.
Unable to find a suitable replacement to face Judah at the Barclays Center on such short notice, Golden Boy Promotions and Showtime have reportedly decided to postpone the entire card. April 27 was already a date being held by the Barclays Center for a future Golden Boy Promotions card, so it appears that all previously scheduled fights will be moved to the new date.
