According to reports, IBF welterweight champion Devon Alexander has suffered an injury during training camp that will force the postponement of his title defense against mandatory challenger Kell Brook. Evidently, Alexander suffered an injury to one of his a biceps that will require at least 3 weeks to heal properly. Originally scheduled for February 23, the bout will now be pushed back to a date that has yet to be determined.
IBF jr. middleweight champion Cornelius "K9" Bundrage was also scheduled to defend his title against Ishe Smith on the same card, however, that fight will now likely be postponed as well.
