Moments ago at the StubHub Center in Carson, California, two-division former world champion Timothy Bradley won a unanimous decision victory over previously undefeated jr. welterweight champion Jessie Vargas. Although Bradley was clearly ahead on all the scorecards, he had to survive a last second scare after Vargas landed a devastating right hand that nearly floored him. As Vargas tried to finish him off, Bradley held on and the referee inadvertently called a halt to the fight with 10 seconds still left in the round.
