Moments ago at the US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio, three-time former world champion Adrien Broner picked up his fourth world title in as many divisions, scoring a 12th round TKO over former champion Khabib Allakhverdiev. Although Allakhverdiev was game and willing to make a fight, Broner had too much speed and firepower as he quickly began to break him down with uppercuts and solid body shots. In the end, the damage took it's toll on the face of Allakhverdiev and the referee called a halt to the fight with roughly 30 seconds left to go. Also on the card, IBF super featherweight champion Jose Pedraza patiently and effectively picked his shots against a game Edner Cherry, who was making the fight rough on the inside and having his moments in rounds. In the end, however, Pedraza proved to be the better technician, earning a split decision victory with scorecards of 116-112 (Cherry), 117-111 (Pedraza), 117-111 (Pedraza).

"I feel I did enough to win, but I wish I had knocked him out and not left it in the hands of the judges.
"He wasn't as slick as I thought he'd be. I think I hurt him quite a few times.
"It was a good fight I did my best I can do and I'm happy with my performance.
"I would love a rematch. I would love to."
