GENNADY GOLOVKIN STOPS KELL BROOK IN 5TH ROUND AFTER CORNER THROWS IN THE TOWEL

Moments ago at the O2 Arena in London, England, unified middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin kept his titles and undefeated record intact while extending his knockout streak, stopping challenger and previously undefeated welterweight champion Kell Brook in the 5th round. Brook was game while the fight lasted, able to effectively counter and outbox Golovkin at times, but the champion appeared to be too strong and powerful, as he walked through the fire to land his own devastating shots. As Brook took a barrage of punches in the 5th round, his corner had seen enough and decided to throw in the towel. Relive all the action in FightHype's round-by-round results!
