TMT'S DEJUAN BLAKE CALLS BLUFF OF OHARA DAVIES; SAYS HE'S BEEN OFFERED FIGHT WITH MAYWEATHER PROMOTIONS FIGHTER

"Floyd don't even know who he is, man. He's mentioning Floyd's name too much. He's acting like the UFC fighters, getting fame off of mentioning Floyd's name...we gonna call his bluff. He was talking mad shit on Instagram about Juan Heraldez, saying he never fought nobody. Well okay, if he never fought nobody and you're calling him a novice, he's ready to fight now," stated Affiliation Management founder DeJuan Blake, who revealed that jr. welterweight Ohara Davies got his wish and has been offered a fight with a 140-pounder from Mayweather Promotions. Check it out!

BT: What's up Dejuan? I hear Ohara Davies got the attention of Affiliation Management and Mayweather Promotions. Tell us about it!

DB: Being that he's talking all this shit about how he'll fight anybody in Mayweather Promotions from 135 to 147, well, you just got a letter stating we got a fighter at 140 that would love to fight you. Mayweather Promotions sent a letter over to Eddie Hearn in regards to him fighting Juan Heraldez.

BT: Have you heard anything back from them?

DB: Nothing. We didn't get any response back!

BT: Wow! According to Davies, Floyd is "advising" his fighters not to face him, but now that he has an offer to face one of Floyd's fighters, he's gone silent?

DB: Floyd don't even know who he is, man. He's mentioning Floyd's name too much. He's acting like the UFC fighters, getting fame off of mentioning Floyd's name. He actually was a cool kid until I saw all this talk that he be doing. He used to come to our gym and train. I think he came down with Chris Eubank Jr. or one of them other UK fighters that be coming down. He was sparring amateurs, so it's not like he was sparring pros.

BT: Do you think maybe that's all he's trying to do; gain some fame off of Floyd's name?

DB: Well, we gonna call his bluff. He was talking mad shit on Instagram about Juan Heraldez, saying he never fought nobody. Well okay, if he never fought nobody and you're calling him a novice, he's ready to fight now.

BT: What's Juan's record?

DB: 11 and 0 with 8 KOs. He [Davies] is like 14 or 15 and 0, if I'm not mistaken. We got somebody damn near with the same record. We trying to do it on the undercard of Gervonta's fight, if possible. He's a basic kid; he is nothing special whatsoever. He got a little pop in his punches, just a little bit, but that's it. Most of the UK fighters, they mostly only fight in the UK. We wanna see if he's one of those UK fighters that when they fight some real competition, they fold.

BT: Even though Ohara said any Mayweather Promotions fighter from 135 to 147, it seems like he's only focused on facing Ashley Theophane.

DB: Well, we're not going to give you Ashley. We want to give you someone who's going to be right at your level. Let's make it an even playing field. Since Davies has never fought nobody, and being that Juan Heraldez is a "novice", like he claims, then let's line it up. Him and Juan will be right at the same level, except Juan does no talking. If you Google "Juan Heraldez", you're going to see footage of him sparring Canelo when he was a young kid. He's always fighting at a catchweight, like 142 or 143, so 140 ain't a problem.

BT: Davies vs. Heraldez, UK vs. TMT; two up-and-coming jr. welterweights looking to take their careers to the next level. It looks like Davies is getting what he asked for and that sounds like the perfect fight for the undercard of Davis vs. Walsh. Is there anything else you want to add before I let you go?

DB: Tune in to the Mayweather Promotions card on April 29th. It's full of Affiliation Management fighters. I got Ronald Gavril. Juan Heraldez. Memphis is fighting. Lanell Bellows is fighting. The main event is Beibut Shumenov and the co-main is our champion from Peru, Carlos Zambrano. It's gonna be a good one. And make sure you keep an eye out for Affiliation Management. We've got some big things in the works, so we're going to have a lot more to talk about in the near future. Davies, let's get it done!
