Moments ago at the Copper Box Arena in London, England, IBF super featherweight champion Gervonta Davis made the first successful defense of his title, stopping mandatory challenger Liam Walsh in the third round. The fight barely even heated up as Davis wasted no time in attacking Walsh early. Although the first round was uneventful, Davis was quick to turn up the heat in the second. After stunning him with a big shot in the third round, Davis went in for the kill, dropping the British challenger. Although Walsh made it back to his feet, it didn't take long for Davis to finish the job, battering the challenger until the referee called a halt to the assault!
