FIRED UP JESSE HART WAITING ON DATE FOR GILBERTO RAMIREZ CLASH; UNIMPRESSED WITH DAVID BENAVIDEZ AND WARNS HIM

"Gilberto Ramirez, I'm the #1 contender in the WBO. It's a lot with that; he keep trying to get around me. The fight is going to happen thanks to Bob Arum and Top Rank Promotions. That fight is going to happen. It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when. Everything is coming together. Bob is trying to put it together and we are just waiting on that date," stated super middleweight contender Jesse Hart, who talked about his future plans and much more. Check it out!

PC: How is it going, my man?

JH: Everything has been good, man. Everything has been great. We taking it one fight at a time and one step at a time. The hand is great and everything is back in formation. I'm punching hard with the hand again; The last fight, I knocked the guy out in the 5th round and the fight before that, I knocked the guy out in the 3rd round, so it's definitely healed up.

PC: You're a guy that likes to stay busy; you need opposition to stay busy. You have anyone on your radar?

JH: Absolutely! We've been talking to a lot of people and a lot of guys don't want to take the fight. It's a risk; it's too much of a risk. You lose to me, where do you go from there? We know who ducking me. Gilberto Ramirez, I'm the #1 contender in the WBO. It's a lot with that; he keep trying to get around me. The fight is going to happen thanks to Bob Arum and Top Rank Promotions. That fight is going to happen. It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when. Everything is coming together. Bob is trying to put it together and we are just waiting on that date.

PC: You've been through a lot in your 22-fight career; being down and getting back up to win, hand injuries during fights, and you're still standing here undefeated. What have you learned during those hardships? How have you grown from all of your experiences through these fights?

JH: I think it just builds character. It really builds character. I have grown a lot because I know how to overcome rough fights. When you been through a rough fight like the one I've been through, you learn the tricks and the trades of the sport and in the ring. When I'm sitting out, I learned how not to get depressed over a hand injury because that's depressing watching all of these guys fight and you can't fight; that's depressing. When you can't perform and you know what you bring to this sport, I bring a different type of thing to this sport.

PC: Many observers walked away impressed with David Benavidez and his knockout win over "Porky" Medina. You, not so much.

JH: That's what I wanted to speak about. I really don't like that situation. People are putting this kids name in the likes of mine and he ain't fought nobody yet. He hasn't earned his stripes and it's like, "Damn, right away! Right away y'all say throw him in there with the wolf." Throw him in there with the wolf, throw him in there with Jesse Hart and then as soon as the wolf eat his ass, because that's what they gonna do, throw his ass to the wolves, and I'm definitely going to eat his ass and then they gonna say he was nothing. I'm not taking nothing away from the guy, just don't throw his name in the same light as mine because when you do that, like I said, when I eat his ass alive, it's gonna be, "Oh, he wasn't nothing. He wasn't ready. He needed a couple of more." It's going to be the same thing like Floyd said what happened to Canelo. It's the same thing. Throw Canelo in there with Floyd and then when Floyd ate his ass alive, "Oh, he was too green." What has David Benavidez done? He beat a 54-pounder in Denis Douglin and then he beat "Porky" Medina, who sat out for we don't know how long. He beat an inactive kid and now it's, "Throw him in there with Jesse Hart. Throw his name in the pot with Jesse Hart." No, I'm not feeling that and that's one thing that I wanted to speak on. You can't throw his name in there with Jesse Hart because when I spank that assÂ…because if that fight happens, that's what I'm going to do and then they gonna say, "Oh, he never had it anyway," or "That fight happened too fast." But y'all saying y'all want the fight to happen. I just really feel like, don't get a kidÂ…don't hype that kid because that's hype. I can really fight. I can really, really fight and I'm big as well. I'm 6'3". I'm not no little dude and that's what people don't understand. I'm not no little guy, I'm a big guy. I don't make myself big; I'm really big. I'm a big 68-pounder. I'm 6'3" and I'm wide. I have wide shoulders, so that stuff that he has, when it comes down to size, it's not difference in size or power. It's going to come down to who is smart and strategic and that's where he's going to lose.

PC: Do you feel like you had to get yours out of the mud and he's been handed his accolades, because that's where it sounds like your anger is coming from.

JH: Absolutely! Absolutely I had to get mine out of the mud. I had to grind for mine. When I went down against that kid, that showed character because I had to get back up and fight on. The true boxing people and the true fans were like, "He showed character and heart. You gotta give him respect." But coming in, they giving this guy a stamp based off of nothing. He's done nothing and they gonna stamp him and say he's the real guy when I damn sure know he's not a real guy in my eyes. And then y'all gonna throw his name in a pot with my name. I saw on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook so much, "Id like to see him in there with Jesse Hart. I think he will destroy Jesse Hart." I seen so many things that made me frustrated and that's where all of this frustration comes from. I didn't even know this kid until he fought Medina. When everybody was throwing his name in the hat, I didn't even know him. That's the honest to God truth and now he done fought that fight and he's the greatest thing since sliced bread and they want him in there with the wolf. Y'all wasn't saying throw him in there with me in 2015 on the Mayweather card, y'all wasn't saying throw his ass in there with me when I gained them regional titles, and y'all wasn't saying throw his ass in there with me when I spanked Aaron Pryor Jr.'s ass. Y'all wasn't doing none of that and now it's throw him in there with Jesse Hart. Throw him in there with the wolf, come on, man. I just don't want people to believe the hype. I don't know this kid, I'm not downing this kid, but just in general, don't throw him in there with the wolf. Let him grow. That fight can happen and it has the potential to be a great fight, but let him grow. Don't throw his ass in there with me because if you throw him to the wolf and I eat him, then a million excuses gonna come out, "He wasn't ready, he still a kid, he was still young." It would be a lot of excuses after I spank that ass. If I was to beat his ass right now, they'll say he was too young. He's never did 10 rounds, he's never did 12 rounds. So beating him now, they'll make a million excuses. But right now, everybody saying throw him in there with me. You throw him to the wolf, he's going to get ate and then they gonna say it's a tragedy what happened. After the ass whooping I would put on him, he's not going to be able to recover because he's too young. I can guarantee he wouldn't be able to recover from the ass whooping I would put on him.

PC: I miss hearing a motivated and amped up Jesse Hart. I appreciate the call. I will be speaking to David shortly and will definitely give him the opportunity to address this interview. I'm sure he will read this one, so is there anything you want to say to him directly?

JH: Don't drive too fast or that car can crash. That's all I'm going to say. I wish you the best of luck David Benavidez in your career, but don't drive that car too fast because if you drive that car too fast, y'all definitely will crash and when you crash and total a car out, it's done. You can't get that back. I love FightHype, y'all are the best boxing website in the world; #1!
