Sources close to the situation have informed us that former world champion Shawn Porter is pulling out of his August 26 clash with Thomas Dulorme. The bout, which was taking place on the undercard of Mayweather vs. McGregor, was scheduled to headline the FOX prelims card leading into the event.
Although details are unclear at this point, we're told that either a serious illness or a death in the family is the reason why Porter is making the decision to pull out of the fight. FightHype has been advised that Yordenis Ugas is the frontrunner to replace Porter in the bout. Furthermore, we're told that there's a strong possibility that Porter will return to the ring in November against fellow former world champion Danny Garcia.
