Moments ago at the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England, former world champion Amir Khan made a big statement, stopping jr. middleweight contender Phil Lo Greco just 39 seconds into the first round. Khan wasted no time in jumping on Lo Greco, dropping him with a quick right hand early in the round.
Lo Greco was quick to make it back to his feet and it looked like it was simply a flash knockdown. However, Khan followed up with a barrage of punches that clearly rocked and dropped Lo Greco for the second time in the fight, prompting the referee to quickly jump in and wave a halt to the fight.
