"Right now, I gotta see the doctor. I gotta take the tests. Without the tests, I can't fight," stated undefeated pound-for-pound champion Floyd Mayweather, who was whisked away to an undisclosed location in the Hudson Theater in order to take what's believed to be the first of many random Olympic-style drug tests being administered by USADA for the September 17th Mayweather vs. Ortiz welterweight championship shodown. Shortly after the press conference concluded, Mayweather, who was still taking pictures and signing autographs for fans, was informed that a doctor was on hand waiting for him. Although we could not officially confirm it, several members of the media believed the doctor to be a representatives of USADA who was there to collect their first sample for the fight.
Upon receiving the news, Mayweather informed everyone that although he had to go see the doctor in order to take his tests, he would return immediately afterwards to finish taking pictures and signing autographs for fans outside of the theater. Sure enough, after about 20 minutes had passed, Mayweather indeed returned and continued to interact with fans who waited eagerly for him. WBC welterweight champion Victor Ortiz was also seen leaving to an undisclosed location about an hour before Mayweather, but it's unclear as to whether or not he too was taking any tests today.
