BJ: Amir, you looked sensational in your fight with Zab. Were you happy with the performance?
AK: Yeah, I was happy with it, you know? Freddie gave me a great game plan and I feel I stuck to it very well. Everything just seemed to work and I am glad we got him out of there.
BJ: Will you be fighting at 140 again? Any news on your next opponent?
AK: Yeah, my next fight will be at 140. Me and my team are still working on a opponent. There are a few names in the mix, but nothing concrete as of yet.
BJ: Any chance we will ever see you face Timothy Bradley for all the marbles?
AK: If only! We tried everything to get the fight with Bradley. We offered him a 50/50 deal, but he didn't want to fight, so not much I can do. It takes two and if one guy don't want it, what can I do? I mean, we told him he won't get the same offer again. He's scared of losing to me.
BJ: Do you really think he is ducking you or do you think there is some truth to the rumors he is waiting for the pot to boil money-wise?
AK: He's ducking me. He's scared to lose. I am now ranked number one by Ring Magazine above him. Anyway, everyone knows I am the guy at 140.
BJ: Amir, the Erik Morales vs. Lucas Matthysse winner and a shot at the WBC belt, is that something you would consider?

BJ: Amir, I know that as a fighter, you take one fight at a time, but in the long run, have you and Freddie talked about life after welterweight? To me, you have the frame and skills to go up to 154, maybe even 160. Is this something in the future you would do, similar to your stablemate Manny Pacquiao?
AK: (Laughing) Good question. I'll try. It all depends on my body. It takes time. Already I am outgrowing 140 pounds and developing in to a fully-fledged welterweight. If it [my body] let's me go that high, yeah . I'm tall [5'10"], so 154 pounds is a possibility, and 160 pounds, maybe. As I'm getting older, I'm getting bigger and stronger.

AK: Thank you. I want the world to know Bradley is scared of me. I know I'm the best 140-pounder on the planet. I have proved myself as the best by beating the best. Bradley needs to step up.
