On May 24, Manny Pacquiao will continue his lucky tradition of appearing on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" ahead of his June 9 welterweight title defense against Timothy Bradley. The news was announced on his official Twitter page in a post that read "I just heard the good news that I will be on again with @jimmykimmel on May 24. He's my good luck charm and he makes me laugh." Publicist Fred Sternburg would also confirm the news on his own Twitter page, writing, "Look for @MannyPacquiao on @jimmykimmellive in Hollywood on May 24. Be part of the live audience. Tix are free."
Pacquiao will be making his 6th pre-fight appearance on the show, the last one being back in November when he was promoting his pay-per-view bout with ring nemesis Juan Manuel Marquez. "Each time you've been here, you've won the fight," Kimmel would tell Pacquiao during the interview. "I feel like we're a team, really." Of course, those who believe that Marquez was robbed and actually won their last encounter would argue that Pacquiao's "good luck" may have run out as far as appearing on the show is concerned.
Nevertheless, Pacquiao will once again pay a visit to the show and will likely punctuate his appearance with another song. Last time, it was a duet with Kimmel himself as they sang "How Deep Is Your Love." Prior to that, he also did a duet with Will Ferrell that garnered more than 1.5 million views on YouTube.
