Even on St. Patrick's Day, the Irish luck of Matthew Macklin was no match for the superior boxing skills of middleweight king Sergio Martinez, who moments ago scored an 11th round TKO at the Theater in Madison Square Graden. Although Macklin was game, pushing Martinez early in the fight and staying even with the champion, he eventually wore down and had no answer for the consistent left hand of the middleweight king.
