Kaliesha "Wild Wild" West (10-0-0, 2 KO) made quick work of Elizabeth Cervantes for her 10th win a row last night in front of her home crowd at the Morongo Casino Resort and Spa in Cabazon, California. West was originally scheduled to fight Cynthia Talmadge from San Francisco, however, due to a failed eye exam Cervantes subsequently took the fight.
The #10 ranked bantamweight in the WBC was familiar with Cervantes as she had previously fought her a year and a half ago which West took by unanimous decision. This time around, West had already made a decision that she wanted to end it quick. Kay threw a nasty barrage of punches that rocked Cervantes and within 55 seconds of the first round West recorded her second knockout of her career. Look for Kay West to continue her dominance in hopes of title shot.
