MMA AND BOXING EXPERTS PICKS: DE LA HOYA VS. PACQUIAO

Find out what the real experts think! Fighters, trainers, managers and promoters in both boxing and mixed martial arts all give their take on this weekend's intriguing and highly-anticipated "Dream Match" between Oscar De La Hoya and Manny Pacquiao. Check out who they think will win as names like FLOYD MAYWEATHER SR., CUNG LE, NATE CAMPBELL, RASHAD EVANS, KIMBO SLICE, THIAGO ALVES, JOE MESI, FRANK TRIGG, CHRIS ARREOLA and EDDIE MUSTAFA MUHAMMAD all shared their thoughts on tomorrow's mega-fight with FightHype. Over 30 predictions from people who really know the fight game from the inside out!

Cung Le (Strikeforce middleweight champion) - Pacquiao

Nate Campbell (IBF, WBA and WBO lightweight champion) - De La Hoya
If the fight goes more than 4 rounds, the fix is in. If it goes the distance, Oscar can burn his legacy and I'll give him the matches!

Ed Soares (manager of Anderson Silva) - Pacquiao

Kimbo Slice (MMA heavyweight contender) - Pacquiao

Floyd Mayweather Sr. (trainer) – De La Hoya
Oscar going to beat the dog shit out of Pacquiao. You know who the hell I got. Oscar is going to rearrange his fucking face man, believe me. Oscar is going to turn him over man. He's going to turn him all the way over.

Rashad Evans (undefeated UFC light heavyweight title challenger) - De La Hoya
I like Pacquiao, but I think the size is going to be too much. De La Hoya is going to be able to offset his fast combos by sticking a jab in his face.

Chris Arreola (NABF and WBC Continental Americas heavyweight champion) - Pacquiao by Decision

Thiago Alves (UFC welterweight contender) - De La Hoya KO8
De La Hoya by knockout in the eighth round.

Joe Mesi (heavyweight contender) - De La Hoya by Split Decision

Gary Shaw (promoter) - Pacquiao by Decision

Frank Trigg (former UFC and Pride veteran/commentator) - Pacquiao by Decision
I think Pacquiao's aggressive style and cardio will be the factor.

Eddie Mustafa Muhammad (trainer) - Draw
They're both winners. If you don't believe so, then go check out their bank statements on Monday.

Matt Pena (trainer) - De La Hoya by TKO
De La Hoya by mid-late round stoppage. This could potentially be similar to what happened to Cotto against Margarito; a great small man coming up to fight a still solid big man in a weight class that is just too much. I expect De La Hoya to stand his ground a little more than usual. Look for Oscar to impose himself and the power of his left hand via jabs, hooks, straight right and left hook combos. He should look to wear Pacquiao down early and I think that will be too much for the much smaller man. That doesn't mean Manny can't win this fight, but it's basically De La Hoya's fight to lose. If De La Hoya chooses to sit back and counter, he could find himself getting outpointed and for some reason, I think that would be great for the sport. I would love to see Manny do it, but I don't see it happening in this fight.

Cliff Couser (heavyweight contender) - Pacquiao
Pacquiao will win

Din Thomas (UFC veteran) - De La Hoya by KO
De La Hoya by beatdown. He's too big and too skilled of a boxer. His jab will tame the speed of Manny and his left hook will put Manny to sleep. Manny and Hatton would be the fight to see.

Cole Miller (UFC lightweight contender) - Pacquiao
Pacquiao because he still has the heart and a reason to fight.

Elena Reid (former flyweight champion in boxing and rising MMA female fighter) - De La Hoya
I have to say Oscar, he is just too big, but my heart is with Pacquiao...Pinoy Pride.

Francisco "El Gato" Figueroa (NABF junior welterweight champion) - De La Hoya
Being that 147 is his fighting weight and it's nowhere near Pacquiao's fighting weight. De La Hoya better win (laughing).

Icey Mike Imber (manager of Kimbo Slice) - De La Hoya

John Hackleman (trainer) - De La Hoya by Decision

Jackie Kallen (manager) – De La Hoya KO9
De La Hoya KO9 8 or 9. I think Oscar is just too big of a man for Manny Pacquiao.

Juanito Ibarra (trainer/manager) – De La Hoya
It's hard to say if he's going to stop him or not because Oscar has a tendency to not fight. If he does all of the things he is supposed to do, use his jab, fight tall and box, he should win decisively and possibly stop Pacquiao. Oscar sometimes leans in and gives up his height and reach advantage and he can't do that. He also used to spread his legs really wide to try and dig into the body, but you can't do that against a southpaw. Oscar has a very powerful left hook and he throws that thing with conviction. Not sure if Manny can stand up to that. It could be a good fight if Oscar doesn't fight, but everything Oscar needs to do in this fight, he will be able to.

Jose Nunez (manager of Joan Guzman) - De La Hoya
De La Hoya is going to whip that ass.

Ivaylo Gotzev (manager of Samuel Peter) - De La Hoya by TKO
De La Hoya by late round TKO. The good big man will always beat the good little man. De La Hoya is just too big for Pacquiao.

Marshall Kaufmann (trainer) - De La Hoya by Decision

Guy Mezger (former UFC champion, Pride and Pancrase veteran) - De La Hoya
He still has the skills and he is the much bigger fighter

Ken Pavia (super agent) - De La Hoya by Decision

Jose Rivera (former WBA welterweight champion) - De La Hoya TKO9
I think he is too big, too strong and can match Pacquiao's speed. I don't see how Pacquiao can overcome the height and reach disadvantage.

Fres Oquendo (heavyweight contender) - Pacquiao by Decision

Trevor Wittman (trainer) – Pacquiao
I have nothing against De La Hoya, although I don't like the way he's been trashing Freddie Roach in this promotion, but I want to see Manny win. Personally, I think you have De La Hoya losing a lot of weight and Manny gaining a lot so I don't think we'll see either one of them at their best because Manny had to pack on baggage and Oscar's legs may not be there. Just the fact that neither guy will be at their best, I don't think we'll see the "superfight" that they're building it up to be.

KJ Noons (former Elite XC lightweight champion/boxer) - De La Hoya
De La Hoya, but I want Pacquiao to win and I think he has a very good chance.

Omar Sheika (super middleweight contender) - De La Hoya
De La Hoya should win.

Shaun George (light heavyweight contender) - De La Hoya KO3
I would love to see De La Hoya lose this fight, but I just don't think it will happen.

Ron Frazier (trainer) - De La Hoya
I think oscar will win, but I'm rooting for Pac. I just think he's way too small.
