After Brock Lesnar's dominant victory at UFC 100, things got way out of hand after the fight. Showing no signs of good sportsmanship, he didn't bother to shake Frank Mir's hand, continued to trash talk and taunt him, made a derogatory gesture towards fans and insulted one of the newest sponsors of the UFC.
Real kind, isn't it?
At the post-fight press conference, Lesnar would later apologize, saying, "First, I want to apologize. I acted very unprofessionally after the fight. I'm a sore loser, OK. I don't like to get beat. I believe that first bout between Frank and me, I gave that fight to him.
"There was a lot of emotion in this fight for me. You guys have asked if there is something I can bring over from WWE. You saw a little of it tonight.
"I want to apologize to [sponsor] Bud Light. I'm used to selling pay-per-view tickets. I came from a business that was purely entertainment. Dana came in and we had a whip-the-dog session. I apologize."
While it's nice that he apologized, you have to wonder if an apology would have come had President Dana White not had a stern talking to the UFC heavyweight champion.
Speaking of Dana White, he revealed that he definitely wants to bring Lesnar's biggest competition, Fedor Emelanenko, to the UFC. That would be a very exciting fight to watch and very well could happen if the offer is right. Seeing as how it would easily be the biggest pay-per-view event in the history of the sport, I think we'll definitely be seeing Brock Lesnar facing Fedor Emelanenko in the near future.
We'll see what happens. As for now, I'm looking forward to 100 more great events from the UFC!
