"I have a lot of respect for Nate. I signed Nate years ago, so I really know the Galaxy Warrior. But I love Timothy Bradley. I love his chances. He proved that he can go to England, he proved he can go to Mississippi and now he's going to his hometown to do wonderful things and he will absolutely come out of this fight victorious against Nate Campbell and still be holding his world title," stated promoter Gary Shaw as he talked about the upcoming clash between Timothy Bradley and Nate Campbell. PC: How are you doing Gary?
GS: Very good, thank you!
PC: You split wins at your recent event as Darchinyan lost, but Demarco had a great win. What can we expect from the two? Would you like to see Darchinyan go back down?
GS: Darchinyan will probably drop back down to 115. He has a mandatory in the IBF. He has a lot of options and eventually, he would like to fight the WBO champion as well to try to unify all of the titles. Demarco is at 135, so we'll see what's happening there. From my understanding, Valero is in jail and you can't fight someone that's in jail, so we'll see what's happening with that.
PC: We watched Darchinyan box beautifully in his previous two fights. Was it frustrating for you to watch him go back to his old style?
GS: Yes. Very. Hopefully, for his next fight, he will be the old-new Darchinyan.
PC: I think this upcoming super middleweight tournament is one of the better things that have happened in boxing recently. You have your guy Andre Dirrell fighting in it. How do you like his chances?
GS: I love his chances. I think he is going to be the winner. He is the most athletic of the other five. Time will tell, but I think he will be the best conditioned, he will be the biggest and I'm expecting great things out of him. I'm expecting him to face Carl Froch and become the WBC world champion.
PC: Chad Dawson has a rematch coming up in November against Glen Johnson. How has he been and what can we expect in that fight from him?
GS: November 7th, you can see the Glen Johnson fight on HBO and you can expect to see the same thing; him winning a unanimous decision over Glen Johnson. They say the first fight was close. I don't know who saw it that way. I didn't think it was close, but a lot of people did. I don't think this one will be close.
PC: You have a ton of fighters. You also have Timothy Bradley about to face Nate Campbell on the 1st. I think this is one of the more intriguing fights of the year. How do you like Bradley's chances against the crafty vet?

PC: You have Alfredo Angulo scheduled to fight early next month and then again in November on the Dawson card. How important is it Gary to get a young fighter coming off of their first loss right back in there so they won't ponder that loss?
GS: Yeah, that's a good question. You gotta get them right back in the ring and have them fighting soon. You get that confidence growing again and he will have that confidence on ESPN in August and then he will come back and open for Chad Dawson on November 7th.
PC: Pacquiao is obviously the hot fighter right now. Do you see anyone that can beat him or is it just his time?
GS: He's the guy to beat. I have a lot of respect for Manny Pacquiao, but I believe Floyd Mayweather is the only fighter out there today that can beat Pacquiao right now. Floyd's gotta deal with Marquez and then next up, hopefully, will be Pacquiao. And then you will see Floyd is the best pound-for-pound fighter of our era!
PC: Well good luck with all of your fighters coming up. Is there anything you want to say in closing?
