According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, just one day after accussations of domestic violence had surfaced, Floyd Mayweather Jr. was arrested on charges of grand larceny regarding items that he took from his ex-girlfriend, Josie Harris. Mayweather was booked into the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas earlier today and is being held on $3000 bail, which his lawyer expects to be paid soon.
Yesterday, Harris accused Mayweather of domestic violence, claiming that he had showed up to her house, attacked her in front of their kids and threatened to have both her and her current boyfriend "taken care of." After the alleged incident, Harris was taken to the hospital where she was treated for minor injuries before being released. Although Mayweather was not immediately arrested for the domestic violence, he was a person of interest that police were seeking out to question.
Mayweather voluntarily met with police early this morning, when he was arrested for taking the personal items.
