"I ain't talked to Lil Floyd. I ain't got time for that...It's not a fallout this time because it's all me. The closer it gets to my book coming out, I plan on doing a 21-city tour... the truth will come to light," commented world-class trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr. as he gave us an update on himself, his son, and much more. You don't want to miss what he had to say.
PC: How have you been Big Floyd?
FM: Everything is going good, man. I've been doing really good.
PC: Did you get a chance to watch Sergio Martinez's fight against Dzinziruk?
FM: No man, I didn't because I was at a live fight. I went to the Michael Grant fight. He fought Tye Fields out here and I went to that. Grant knocked his ass out.
PC: Yeah, the heavyweights haven't been giving us anything to cheer about, that's for sure.
FM: Man, I could whoop these heavyweights ass, and I'm talking about with no training or getting ready or anything. I can whoop they ass. But I heard Martinez looked good, man. I met him after Lil Floyd's fight against Shane. He seems like a really nice guy. He was telling me it was a pleasure to meet me and things like that. He seemed very cool.
PC: Sergio is a very cool dude. Speaking of Lil Floyd, have you talked to him lately? What's new with him?
FM: I ain't talked to Lil Floyd. I ain't got time for that shit, man.
PC: Damn, it sounds like y'all had another fallout my man.
FM: It's not a fallout this time because it's all me. I don't have time for the shit that he's doing, man.
PC: Well, I don't want you to get into that too much because that's between you and your son, but I will say I hope the best for you guys.

PC: I understand you are working with your first female fighter since Laila Ali as well.
FM: Yeah man, I got this female fighter I'm working with now. They call her Ms. Knockout! You gonna hear a lot about her. I want to get her about 3 to 4 more fights and after that, I guarantee you, you're going to be hearing a lot about her. She made her pro debut earlier this month on that Yusaf Mack/Otis Griffin card and knocked this girl out cold in 21 seconds. I'm showing her a few new things, but she has a good jab and she's a southpaw. She's going to be good, man. Her real name is Yolanda Ezell. I'm trying to get her on Vargas next fight card.
PC: I will definitely look out for her. Mike Jones' camp had a lot of good things to say about you. Danny Davis told me it looked like you had worked with Jones for years in just the couple of days you spent with him.
FM: Yeah man, they want me to work with him for his next fight. Danny told me straight up he was stealing my stuff (laughing). He said he was back in school and that he enjoyed learning from me. I'm still learning so much new shit in this game, man, its crazy. I already know a lot about the game of boxing, man, but I'm just telling you that I'm still learning. And let me tell you something, that kid can punch. I don't know if he's known as a big puncher or not, but I let him hit my hand and that kid punch hard as hell, man. He's tall for a welterweight and I see a lot of potential there.
PC: Have you heard anything about Manny Pacquiao suffering from chest pains during training?
FM: I didn't hear anything about that, but last camp or camp before, they rushed him to the hospital for stomach problems and now it's Pacquiao's chest. Man, look here, the only thing I will say on that is the truth will come to light. But man, I'm gonna be honest with you, how can Freddie Roach teach something he never knew how to do? Freddie Roach wasn't shit as a fighter, so how is he gonna teach somebody else how to fight? His fighters don't have no damn defense. He had a fighter on the same card as one of my fighters a little while back and that motherfucker got hit with every punch in the book. But that's how Freddie Roach was, so like I said, he can't teach what he don't know and he never knew defense. Shit, when he was fighting, you could hit him with everything including the kitchen sink.
PC: Did you hear anything about the Mayorga/Cotto fight?
FM: I'ma be honest with you man, I heard Mayorga didn't look all that bad. From what I hear, he shouldn't be considering retirement, but I think he may be tired of dealing with Don King. Maybe he can take a few years off to regroup and come back. He's only 38 I believe, so he can come back at 40. Bernard still going strong in his mid-40's and Holyfield damn near 50. In fact, you can call Holyfield 50 and you wouldn't be wrong (laughing).
PC: Do you think Bernard will win the rematch against Pascal?
FM: He won the first time. Where they fighting at this time and when are they fighting again?
PC: He's going back to Canada on May 21st.
FM: He's going back over there? They must be paying him good to go back over there, so I can't blame him. Plus he already whooped his ass in his own backyard. Let me tell you something man, when you get knocked down twice in another motherfucker's backyard and walk away with a draw, you really won. I only think one of the knockdowns was legit, but even though he got credit for two knockdowns, they still couldn't give it to him, so that tells you right there that Bernard whooped his ass.
