On Carl Froch...
Preparation is great. You know, we in training now and we're lookin' good, we're feelin' good and, you know, we're lookin forward to the fight. I mean, this is a great fight. I think Carl Froch is a guy that brings it and, you know, he's a had fighter, he don't pull any punches...I think this is a fight for the fans.
On the possibility of getting a bad decision from the judges...
I mean, you know, I definitely have thoughts about that. I mean, any time you're going to fight, you're gonna have those thoughts...I've been in that situation enough to know the circumstances behind that, so I have those concerns, certainly, but at the same time, I have to feed my family and I have to go out and give my best peformance. I don't get paid to stay at home and worry about and concern about these situations. I have to go in there and do what I have to do. Now, you know, the judges are going to do what they're going to do regardless, so for me, it's just about going out there and giving my best performance; try to get the knockout if I can.
On a potential rematch with Bernard Hopkins...
I'm extremely interested. I mean, he's a fighter I've been looking for now for a few years. Bernard don't want to hear of it. We'll see. I mean, we're still active, we're still fighting and he's got some business he gotta take care of over there in Canada and I've got my own business that I gotta take care of over here in America. My plan is I got two fights that I gotta take care of before Bernard even comes on the agenda. So I'm looking forward to those fights and I'm concentrating on those fights and we'll see Bernard when that time comes.
On fighting at 168 pounds...
I feel good, man. You know, again, when they gave me that option, I jumped on it...I really felt like the odds might be against me about making the weight, but once they said they would accept me in the tournament if I was able to make the weight, I buckled down and did what I had to do to make that weight on the short notice and went in there and take care of business on Allan Green. Now I have all the time in the world to do it and the weight is coming off nicely. We're feelin' good, I'm feelin' strong, I'm sharp, I have a great training camp so far and, you know, I'm really looking forward to this fight. I believe that it's going to be an exciting fight. I really feel like I'm the favorite in the race and I'm just going to take it one fight at a time.
On Andre Ward...
Well, I mean, Andre Ward is a very good fighter. He's a fast guy. He's a smart guy. I mean, I think he fights with his brain more than anything else and a guy like that is a hard guy to study. You have to know what you're doing and be able to make it up on the fly because that's what he's good at.
