FLOYD MAYWEATHER: "MY FATHER IS TOTALLY WRONG...THE BEST THING FOR PACQUIAO TO DO IS BE QUIET BEFORE HE REALLY GETS EXPOSED"

FLOYD MAYWEATHER:

"Well my father is totally wrong...the best thing for Pacquiao to do is be quiet before he really gets exposed and I tell some things that he don't want me to tell. One thing that I really want to say while I'm on this phone, a lot of things that I talked about in the past, I was 100% right...I know the biggest check that Pacquiao's team has seen from him. I know the biggest check was $7 million. I know how much he got from Nike...$100 grand, and when he got knocked out, they snatched the deal away," stated undefeated pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather, who made it clear that despite what his father may say, a mega-fight with WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao is nowhere on the horizon. Check out what else he had to say!

BT: What's up, Floyd? Recently, I spoke to your father and he seemed convinced that you and Manny Pacquiao will eventually be fighting...

FM: (Cutting in) Well my father is totally wrong. Like I said before, we have people constantly being removed from the Mayweather Promotions team, Team Mayweather, and we also have people being removed from The Money Team. I want my dad to be with my team, but if he continues to go out there and speak on things that he has no knowledge about without communicating with me, then I must get a new trainer. I'm just saying, when Pacquiao was sleeping, everybody was like, "Y'all crazy for trying to make that Mayweather-Pacquiao fight." You know what's so crazy? I just look at the situation like this, ever since Ariza left Pacquiao, he hasn't had a knockout. What a coincidence!

BT: True, but then again, none of Alex's fighters look the same after they stop working with him.

FM: The thing is this, some of the people that used to work with Manny Pacquiao are now working with me, so the best thing for Pacquiao to do is be quiet before he really gets exposed and I tell some things that he don't want me to tell. One thing that I really want to say while I'm on this phone, a lot of things that I talked about in the past, I was 100% right. I'ma say that. A lot of the things I talked about in the past, I was 100% right.

BT: I won't ask you for any specifics, but do you care to elaborate at all?

FM: It's obvious Pacquiao ain't doing the numbers that he say he doing. That's why he gotta fight in another country. They're bringing up my name to sell tickets. All you gotta do is look at his numbers that he did on his last couple of fights and look at my numbers. I'ma tell you what level Pacquiao is on. When Bob Arum said that he was taking Pacquiao somewhere else, MGM Grand said, "So, we don't care. We got Floyd Mayweather." See, the thing is this, I know the biggest check that Pacquiao's team has seen from him. I know the biggest check was $7 million. I know how much he got from Nike...$100 grand, and when he got knocked out, they snatched the deal away. That's all I got to say!

BT: There was also a recent story on a U.K. news site that had some quotes from you claiming that your father was desperate for you to fight Amir Khan...

FM: (Cutting in) Once again, my dad has no say-so on my career, Leonard Ellerbe has no say-so on my career, and me and Al Haymon, we're going to compromise and communicate and always be on the same page.

BT: The article had quotes from you making it sound like...

FM: (Cutting in) It's not true. It's a lie.

BT: (Laughing) I know, Champ. The quotes didn't even sound like you, but I have to ask to clear things up. Basically, the quotes made it sound like you were leaning towards a fight with Amir Khan because you wanted to "put him down" on his "backside" for talking some smack to you. Obviously, I take it that's not the case, right?

FM: I could care less what Amir Khan say, just like I could care less what anybody say. I'ma do what I want to do when I want to and how I want to. I don't know who I'm fighting next. I don't even know if I'm fighting again. Like I told you, a lot of different crazy thoughts go through my mind every day. Sometimes I want to fight, sometimes I don't want to fight. Listen, like I said before, he still got Danny Garcia problems just like Pacquiao still got Marquez problems. So, you know, like I said before, they are still haunted by those fighters. When I fought Maidana, I said I can make the fight easy if I want to. I went out there and made it easy and they complained again. It's never good enough. Never good enough, but as long as I'm happy.
